In February pupils had sex education classes, dealing with issues such as forms of contraception.
DAVID Messenger, a member of the Teenage Pregnancy Squad, conducted the sessions. The Government released statistics showing the amount of teenage pregnancies in Englandfor 2004. Radio 5 promoted the day and showed ways to reduce unwanted pregnancy. Sessions included a daily routine with and without a baby, pupils understood how hard it would be to raise a child.
