Former student, Sukhvir Sangha was recently involved in a Channel four project, Self Portraits UK.
SELF Portaits UK gave young teenagers the opportunity to express themselves through art and the best 100 got the chance to have their self portraits displayed in an exhibition in the Winter Gardens Museum, Sunderland.
As one of the young curators of the project, it was Sukhvir's extremely difficult task to choose six different self portraits from the National Portrait gallery in London, which were to be displayed in the exhibition and produce her own.
"The whole experience was fantastic, it was brilliant just to have the chance to take part. Seeing how young people exress themselves in modern day society was really interesting and creating a self portrait was so fun."
Many celebrities also created self portraits and had them displayed in the exhibition.
