This was the first ever rowing competition in South Tyneside and out of the 7 schools Boldon were victorious!!

The Boldon rowers were:

Dominic Rooney
Ryan Harrison
Ben Dunbar
Jonathan Bell
Alex Brain
Sophie Guy
Stacey Farthing
Jenna Shaw

Each of the rowers had to compete in an individual race with Boldon claiming 1st place – 5 times, 2nd place – once and 3rd place – twice.

Then came the paired races where Boldon came 1st – 3 times and 2nd once.

The pupils capped a fine performance by winning the team distance race.
