17 June 2005 Year 11 Football
The Year 11 football team completed a very successful season winning both the South Tyneside Schools League and Cup. In the league they were unbeaten, winning 9 games and drawing 1. The cup final was against Harton School at St Wilfrid's where our Year 11 team won 5-0 and Man of the Match Sean Reay scored a hat-trick.
11 May 2005 Year 7 & 8 Netball
Girls from Year 7 and Year 8 have been chosen to represent South Tyneside schools in the forth-coming Youth Netball Games.
From Year 7: Rebekah Sharpe, Lauren McKinnie, Clare Rudd, Jenny Cook
From Year 8: Laura Gibson, Holly Sinclair, Abi Forster

Year 9 football team lost to St Joseph's 6-3 in the South Tyneside Cup Final. Goal scorers: Carl Drew 1, Jonathan Henry 1, Nathan Bonar 1
25 April 2005 Year 9 Football
Year 9 football team beat Mortimer 6-2 in the South Tyneside Cup Semi-Final. Goal scorers: Carl Drew 3, Jonathan Henry 3
21 April 2005 Year 10 Football
Year 10 football team lost to Harton 4-1 in the South Tyneside Cup Final. Goal scorer: Marcus Waggot
20 April 2005 Year 10 Football
Year 10 football team lost to Whitburn 2-1 in a South Tyneside league match. Goal scorer: Marcus Waggot
13 April 2005 Year 8 Rugby
Year 8 Rugby team lost to Barnard Castle in the County Cup final 7-37.

Year 10 football team beat Whitburn 3-1 in a league match. Goal scorers: Burridge 2, Waggot 1
21 March 2005 Year 7 Football
Year 11 football team lost to St Wilfrids 3-4 in a league match. Goal scorers: Fawcett 1, Rutherford 1, Gray 1
20 March 2005 Skiing
Gary Thompson from Year 11 was awarded a 5* with Merit for his ski assessment on a skiing trip to Pila in Italy. He was highly recommended by his assessor for selection for an Interski Snowsport School Scholarship. 10 students in Britain are awarded a scholarship each year and this involves free training to qualify as a ski instructor.
20 March 2005 Year 7 Netball
The Year 7 netball team have won the South Tyneside Schools Tournament at Mortimer, beating Hebburn 7-0, Harton A 8-0, Harton B 9-0 ,and Brinkburn 2-1. The team only had one goal scored against them and played superbly. They are now South Tyneside Schools Netball League and Tournament Champions. Well done girls!
